Brian Wines was conceived in Tasmania over a decade ago by winemakers Joe Holyman and Peter Dredge (Dredgey), alongside wine writer, Mike Bennie.
The trio decided to produce a small range of wines reflecting alternative styles to the Tasmanian mainstream. All fruit is hand-picked, and wines are wild-fermented and see no additions, nor filtering or fining, with zero or tiny doses of sulphur. Brian emerged as a single puncheon in that first year and has been going strong ever since
To retain the aura of mysticism and general left field thinking the wines are only in 375ml bottles.
They only ever make small batches of their wines, and with the cult following they have gathered, they always sell out in no time.
